Please keep in mind that since April 2016, it has been a legal requirement in the UK for all dogs and cats to be microchipped, and falling behind on this can result in a £500 fine.

How Microchipping Works

The microchip itself is incredibly tiny—roughly the size of a grain of rice! It is safely and swiftly injected just under the skin between your pet’s shoulder blades. While they typically stay put, chips can occasionally migrate to other areas of the body. To ensure everything is working perfectly, we will regularly scan your pet during routine visits to verify the chip's location and log its unique number.

This unique number is securely registered on a national database alongside your contact information. To give your pet the best protection possible, it is absolutely vital that your details are kept up to date if you ever move or change your phone number.
